Dawley Wanderers Football Club – Est. 1993. Coaching children of all abilities – currently running sides at U9, U7 Girls, U11 Girls, U12, U13, and U17. We are an England Football Accredited club playing in the Telford Junior League, Shropshire Girls League and Salop Leisure League.

Dawley Wanderers U11 Girls were back in action today, facing a very well organized Sinclair U11 side in a tough cup fixture.
The conditions were far from ideal, the pitch was extremely difficult to navigate, but you wouldn't have known it by watching our girls. After such a lengthy break from competitive play, they did brilliantly to find their rhythm so quickly.
Highlights of the day:
Resilience: They looked comfortable and composed despite the challenging surface.
Quality: We saw some excellent spells of football and great tactical awareness.
Work Rate: Every player gave 100% effort from the first whistle to the last.
It was a fantastic return to the pitch and a performance the whole team should be proud of. Well done, girls! 👏💪

After many weeks away from the pitch, the Dawley Wanderers U11 Girls returned to action today against a very strong Saha side.
Despite the long break, the girls didn't miss a beat. They adapted brilliantly to a new module and played some of the best football we’ve seen yet the passing and movement were absolutely top-tier!
It was a fair, hard-fought battle from start to finish. Huge credit to Saha, who never gave up and played their part in a high-quality game. Both sets of coaches and parents should be incredibly proud of the display today.
Well done, girls! A great foundation for the rest of the year.
