Another well-deserved win for the girls in our very first competitive season. We definitely felt like winter is finally coming! 🥶🌧️
Playing on a smaller pitch is always tricky with space at a premium, but the girls' defensive discipline was simply impeccable, allowing us to build up and attack with some cleverly crafted moves. 🧠✨
Half-time: 2–0 in a tightly controlled game.
Full-time: 4–0 after doubling down in the second half!
Newport Leopards brought some physically strong individuals, but nobody shied away from a challenge. When they did manage to break through, our goalkeeper and the rest of the defence were brilliant to secure yet another well-earned clean sheet. 🧤🛡️

Another classy performance from the team today in our very first cup game of the season against a well-organised Shifnal Lionesses side!
🛡️ Defensively: Incredibly solid and so composed throughout.
⚙️ Midfield: Controlled the tempo and dictated play.
⚡ Attack: A constant nuisance for the opposition defence.
We asked the girls to stay focused today and they certainly delivered. We opened the scoring after a swift pass directly out of defence was met with a brilliant, classy touch from our attacker to put us 1–0 up. Shortly after, we doubled our advantage to head into the interval 2–0 ahead!
We picked up right where we left off in the second half. The third goal came from a absolute thunderbolt from outside the area that kissed the post on its way in! 🚀
Every single one of our 14 squad members understood their role and how to impact the game today. On we go into the Quarter Finals! ⚽🔥
